Andrea has over 15 years management, coaching,
training and Human Resources-related experience. She
has worked across a broad range of industries in Asia,
including investment banking, market research, professional
services and management consulting.
Before becoming an independent consultant
in 2002, Andrea was Executive Director of Human Resources
for Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong, where she was responsible
for sourcing, selecting and developing talent on a global
basis. She also worked as Director of Human Resources
at AC Nielsen and as a Senior Manager in the Consulting
Division at Ernst & Young.
Andrea has an in-depth appreciation
of the specific issues that organizations face in growing,
managing and developing multi-cultural workforces in
Asia. In addition, Andrea has also worked in academia
as a Research Fellow in Cognitive Psychology and Artificial
Intelligence at Edinburgh University.Andrea has a PhD
from Edinburgh University in Artificial Intelligence
and Psychology and has lived and worked in Hong Kong
since 1989.
