Amanda Morgan is a New York based associate of Katzman Consulting specializing in organizational development, corporate training and coaching. She has over nineteen years experience consulting with Fortune 500 companies, the non-profit sector, internet start-up firms and companies in the entertainment industry from around the world. Clients of Amanda’s report successes with increasing profits, productivity, quality of life and meeting important goals.

Amanda’s work in the financial sector includes clients such as Deutsche Bank, UBS and Goldman Sachs. At Deutsche Bank she conducted training on Performance Review, Goal Setting, Communication Skills, Work Styles and Difficult Conversations both in the open enrollment space as well as for specialized groups such as Finance. These workshops were conducted through JDA which does a variety of training at DB. At Goldman Sachs working as an external consultant with Bregman Partners, Amanda was key in rolling out a new performance management system for the global IT division. This project entailed training and coaching all employees on competencies and performance development plans. During her time at Goldman, she not only provided coaching for executives, she also designed, developed and delivered presentation skills classes and also taught Harvard Negotiation Skills and Strategic Self Leadership. Finally, at Goldman, Amanda taught Conflict Resolution for an in-tact team off-site and taught a firm wide coaching class with follow up individual coaching for specific high potential employees.

Amanda is also known for her leadership classes, specifically women’s leadership, which she has delivered in all divisions of UBS for over 10 years. Recently, she presented workshops on networking at the UBS Women’s Leadership Conference at the Waldorf Astoria. In addition, she coaches senior UBS executives in the area of communication and presentation skills.

In the non-profit sector, Amanda has significant experience working in both academia and social service organizations. Her non-profit work includes being the lead trainer and designer for a New York Presbyterian Hospital initiative to train all NYP employees in communication skills and customer service to better serve patients. She developed and edited course materials for the Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations. She also implemented a number of training and organizational development initiatives for the New York State Department of Social Services.

Prior to her focus on coaching and training, Amanda spent six years with the SYDA Foundation, a diversified non-profit foundation with charitable and educational functions in 650 subsidiaries throughout the world. She also served as an account executive at Rubenstein Public Relations and was the public relations manager and spokesperson for the New York City Marathon and the New York Road Runners Club.

Amanda is also known for her year-long leadership initiatives which incorporate leadership training, coaching and peer coaching to enhance retention and skill development.

A graduate of New York University, Amanda was named as a recipient of the Founder's Day Award for Highest Honors. She also received a certificate in public relations from New York University. Along with a partner, Amanda launched a ‘green’ nursery school dedicated to nurturing children and educating them to nurture their environment. Amanda lives on the Upper West side of Manhattan with her husband and two children.
